…Well, I kind of am
Because morale matters and celebrations are a small piece of that
I am not a cop
The apparent bad guy with the power to hire and fire
Some employees clam up or wear a mask
Treat me with kid gloves
And keep their ear to the group to hear when my heels come tapping
Oh no, here she comes
If only, I was seen as the protector who rescued cats from trees
Not the one that ties your hands
With a big red NO tattooed on my forehead
Doing what I do every day is a privilege
But it is not a piece of cake
It’s a well-honed skill set – both technical and soft
It’s a labor of love
It’s a belief in people
