BullD0GZ Three-Year Strategic Plan

Posing as C-suite executives of a fictional athletic footwear company, member of my MBA Capstone class and I developed this detailed three-year strategic plan. Composed in conjunction with the famous Business Strategy Game, this plan highlights how BullD0GZ Foowear adjusted our strategy during fiscal years 11-18 of our global operations. The plan's content includes a company overview, industry climate analysis, competitive summary, balanced scorecard, financials and letter to stockholders.    

Powerful Princess: The Use of Power by the People’s Princess

Analyzing the use of power techniques by a complex and influential figure made my MBA Power in the Workplace course come to life. This paper considers two power episodes within Princess Diana's life, namely her influence over landmines and her infamous interview with Martin Bashir. 

Marathoner: Leadership Development Program Proposal

This business proposal was composed as part of my MBA Talent Management course and entailed a soup to nuts proposal for the design and execution of a leadership development program focusing on Front-Line Leader skill enhancement.   

The Learning Organization: How to Build It & for What Purposes

This paper, written as part of my MBA Organization Management class, reflects broad research into what makes a company a true learning organization, how to become one and why such efforts are valuable to the bottom line. Reflections from my personal experience as a Learning and Development professional are woven in.   

Microsoft, the Enduring Stormproof Giant: Strategic Plan and Recommendations

This strategic plan was composed as the capstone project for my Bachelor of Science degree through Immaculata University's Strategic Planning course. This plan, complete with culminating recommendations and an action plan, details Microsoft’s current standing in the software industry and speaks of where the company can and should proceed in the future.

A study of the organization’s identity through its mission, vision and values as well as a SWOT analysis and examination of its competitive strategy serve to characterize Microsoft’s standing. Once contextualized within its industry and among its competitors through PESTEL and five forces analyses, strategic recommendations for Microsoft conclude this report.  

Contemporary HR Leadership: What to do When Leading by Example is not Possible

This paper was written as the final project for Immaculata University's Leadership Dynamics course. It examines a historic leadership adage and how it relates to modern HR. After this exploration, the paper proposes and details a new leadership adage. 

Discriminatory Hiring Practices Can Appear “Fitting”

Composed as the final paper for Immaculata University's Business Law course, this research paper discusses the challenging balance HR professionals must craft between maintaining cultural fit and the unwavering need to uphold employment laws. 

Blessedness

This paper was written to reflect the research conducted in Immaculata University's Honors Independent Theology Research course. This course was specially granted in order to pursue said research. The paper was presented at the Seventeenth Annual SEPCHE Honors Conference held at Immaculata University in March 2015.

The Blessed Virgin Mary is modern woman's role model for Pope Saint John Paul II's New Feminism and his portrayal of the "Feminine Genius." In her blessedness, the Virgin Mary's virtues guide women in their following of her Son. Through striving to model her life after the Blessed Mother, modern woman discovers and embodies her own unique "Feminine Genius" in a world that is in such great need of it.

 

In the Driver's Seat: The Benefits of Informal Mentoring Supported by Creative Theories

This paper was written as the final project for Immaculata University's Spring 2015 Honors Colloquium. The paper analyzes the practice of mentoring in modern business and how creative theories can strengthen the practice of mentee-driven and informal mentoring.

321 OA: A Novella was written as the final project for Immaculata University's Honors History of the Future course. The first four chapters were published in Immaculata's 2015 Pilgrimages Literary Journal.

The Breathing Catholic Liturgy

In May 2013, I was named Lancaster Catholic High School's Inaugural St. Augustine Scholar. In addition to specific course work and GPA requirements, during my senior year, I composed and published a thesis on the evolution of the Roman Catholic Liturgy. Tracing the rites and traditions of the Tridentine, Novus Ordo and Third Edition Liturgies, I explored and advocated how the Mass is "breathing," relevant and influential in today's society.
